Programs such as computer games or instant messengers can occupy a large amount of a childs time, and can get in the way of other, often more productive and useful activities. For example if a child is allowed to play games all the time it can be detrimental to their mental and physical health.
Chronager enables you to control when and for how long specific programs can be used by each individual user.
Setting of the exact times when programs can be accessed
You can set the exact times in which specific programs can be used. Goto Programs Schedule, click on Timetable, mark the check box Enable Timetable and select the respective time period. This will apply only to the programs listed in the 'Controlled Programs List'.
Setting daily time limits without specifying the exact times
You can limit the amount of time that specific programs can be used, whilst not restricting the exact times in which this access is to be allowed. Goto Programs Schedule, then click on Daily Time Limits, mark the check box Enable Daily Time Limits and set the appropriate period of time. This will apply only to the programs listed in the 'Controlled Programs List'.
Daily Time Limits is set for entire user group.
Each user spends only his own time.
Controlled Programs List
Programs Schedule restrictions will apply only to the programs listed in the 'Controlled Programs List'. You need to add the required programs to the Controlled Programs List in order to control them. Any program not on this list will be accessible at any time. Goto Programs Schedule, click on Controlled Programs List and add to this list the specific programs (games, video and music players, instant messengers e.t.c) whose access you wish to be limited by Chronager.
