Conflict with Norton AntiVirus (Symantec)

Unfortunately, the Norton AntiVirus mistakenly identifies our iProtectYou program as spyware.
We recommend you to add 'Spyware iProtectYou' string to Norton Antivirus Signature Exclusions list:
Computer Settings > Signature Exclusions > Configure -> Add > select the 'Parental Control' item > select the 'iProtectYou' string > Add

Also, we recommend you to add ipycp.exe file to Norton 360 Program Exclusions list:
Settings > Administrative Settings > Program Exclusions Configure[+] > 'Add' button > add ../WINDOWS/system32/ipycp.exe file.

Silent Installation

To install iProtectYou 8.8 silently, use the following command lines:

msiexec /qb /i ipy.msi SINGLEPC=1 NETWORKMODE=3 SERIAL=your_serial_number    (Network Client version installation.)

msiexec /qb /i ipy.msi SINGLEPC=0 SERIAL=your_serial_number    (Single PC version installation.)

msiexec /qb /i ipy.msi SINGLEPC=1 NETWORKMODE=2    (Network Server without Filtering version installation.)

msiexec /qb /i ipy.msi SINGLEPC=1 NETWORKMODE=1 SERIAL=your_serial_number    (Network Server with Filtering version installation.)

"ipy.msi" is the file name for the single executable installer of iProtectYou.
"SINGLEPC=0" - for Single PC version.
"SINGLEPC=1" - for network versions.
"NETWORKMODE=1" - Server with Filtering version.
"NETWORKMODE=2" - Server without Filtering version.
"NETWORKMODE=3" - Client version.

User Interface (UI) Modes
"/qb" - Only built-in modal error message dialogs are displayed.
"/qn" - Completely silent installation (it will work only under administrator rights).

"/log ipy.txt" - Add log file (ipy.txt), for example:
msiexec /qb /i ipy.msi /log ipy.txt SINGLEPC=1 NETWORKMODE=3 SERIAL=your_serial_number

Note: It is expected that the client has access to the Internet to activate programs and installation is done from an administrator account. Otherwise a window will appear with an error message.

Deploy iProtectYou

It is possible to apply the MSI installation to deploy iProtectYou on your computers if you are using Active Directory (Microsoft Windows domain). Or you can use another way to deploy the software.

You can use PsTools (free tools from Microsoft) utilities to automatically distribute any programs:
